AGRITOURISM GETAWAYS & PACKAGES
Fresh is best, and the Greater Niagara Region offers superb stops for your discriminating palate. From our maple producers, such as Randall’s Maple Farm in Genesee County, to Murphy’s Orchards and Becker Farms in Niagara, you’ll find foods to savor.
You’ll also find the unexpected,
with goat soap, alpaca fiber products, and farms dedicated to natural wreaths, live
herbs and honey. Of course the Region is dotted with wineries, such as our newest,
Leonard Oakes Estate Winery in Orleans and fun farm producers such
as Brown’s Berry Patch and Kutter's Cheese Factory.
A visit based on agriculture can be informative, fun and tasty.
Every Fall, the Region pays homage to our agricultural roots with “Harvests & Haunts,” a program designed to share Fall’s bounty with our guests. To learn more about the program, go to: www.visitniagarathisfall.com. But make sure to check out Niagara’s website at all times of the year, so you won’t miss all our Strawberry Festivals, County Fairs, Maple Sunday Weekend, Apple Umpkin Festival, Eden Corn Festival , Harvest Festival at the Amherst Museum, or any other events highlighting agriculture in the Greater Niagara Region. The Region hosts many year-round events, so make sure to check out our full events listing under the calendar section.
